1. Marine Radar/Plotters

  • Furuno Navnet VX2 model 1954BB, 12 kW  with 6ft open array, and C-Map Max Chart Plotter with 19” display,  and remote displays over Ethernet  Navnet hub

  • Furuno model 1953C  12kw x-band, 4 ft open array scanner, 1.85 x 22° beam width, with 10.4” colour plasma screen, head up or relational display with ARPA, and C-Map NT+ Chart Plotter and other data display from  separate Navnet hub 

  • Furuno PM-30 radar performance monitor

2. Furuno Navnet Displays (networked using Ethernet hubs)

  • 2 x Furuno XV2 10.4” colour plasma remote radar display and plotter

  • 1 x Furuno Navnet VX2 BB remote radar display and plotter with 19”  display

  • 1 x Furuno Navnet 1 BB remote radar display and plotter with 17”  display

  • Furuno 1720C and 1724C remote displays below deck

  • Navigation plotter and radar information output to large  TVs in saloons

  • Multiple Furuno RD30 4.5” LCD remote digital displays fed  from Navnet  data


3. Heading indicators and Autopilots

  • Gyro compass - Sperry Mk37 Mod O with repeaters in bridge wings and steering console, and interfaced to repeaters and Decca autopilot and providing AD-10 and NMEA183 output via KW950E  digital converter and repeater

  • Furuno SC-60 satellite compass system providing AD10 format  to both Furuno Navnet networks and True heading in NMEA format to Furuno Autopilot and Furuno AIS and Walker 7070 Heading Indicator at steering console

  • Henry Brown & Sons “Sestrel” Circum Deadbeat Type No. 90537  12” double sided compensated magnetic steering compass on compass deck with periscope view from wheelhouse below

  • Furuno PG500 fluxgate heading sensor, self-compensating/adjusting from GPS data, with AD10 and NMEA interface to radar/plotter and Navnet displays as secondary heading source

4. Navigation Data

  • GPS Output  to Navnet VX2  from SC-60

  • Furuno GP320B active antenna interfaced to Navnet 1

5. Information Equipment

  • “Furuno” FA-150 Class A AIS transponder with independent GPS and heading from SC60 or  gyro compass

  • “Furuno” FAX30 weather fax and Navtex receiver with active antenna, interfaced to Navnet displays 

  • “Airmar”  PB100 Ultrasonic Weather station for solid state wind speed, and direction, air temperature and barometric pressure sensors with internal GPS and compass with NMEA combiner linked to Navnet,  and  USB output to computer

  • Walker 7070 True and Apparent Wind Direction Displays with output to Navnet VX2 system

6. MF/HF SSB Radio Telephones

  • Icom M/802 1.6-30Mhz  with all ITU channels and DSC, 150 watts with AT140 automatic antenna tuner,  and Pactor 3 data modem interfaced with computer

7. VHF Radio Telephones

  • Thrane & Thrane Sailor RT5022 Class A VHF 

  • Furuno FM 8800 VHF and Furuno LH-3000 Loudhailer systems

  • Icom M505 (in tenders)

  • Icom M-87/88  and Simrad HT50 waterproof portable units

  • Icom GM1600 for  Liferafts (lithium batteries) 

8. Satellite communications

  • Furuno Felcom 16 Inmarsat- C  data and telex 

  • Skanti Iridium Scansat 7701 fixed station telephone/data

9. Depth Sounders

  • Furuno Network Sounders, 2 sets of  ETR6/10N (BBFF1)  1 kw 200/50 kHz connected to  Navnet hubs. Tranducers: Furuno 525T-HDD (Airmar B260)(port side) and  Furuno 520T-HPD (Airmar B256)(starboard side)

  • DFF1 digital sounder as standby for BBFF1

  • Furuno LS-6100 standalone fish finder/echo sounder with 5.5” mono LCD display (acts as NMEA data display) and anchor alarm, with and Furuno/Airmar 520-5MSD depth transducer  (port side)

10. Searchlights and Floodlights

  • AC Searchlight – 2  14” Perko Solar Ray  750 watt (Boat deck, aft)

  • AC Searchlight – 2 units Carlisle-Finch 12” 750 watt with remote handle in wheelhouse (mounted on Compass deck)

  • DC Searchlight – 2 units 10” Francis  24v 200 watt  (Bridge wings)

  • AC halogen floodlights: Pauluhn 500w floodlight aft, and 2 units Aqua-Signal 1 kW  floodlights for fore and aft decks mounted on mast

11. Wheelhouse wipers

  • 3 x Speich EXIS rotating Clearview Screens

  • 2 x Speich rubber bladed variable speed marine  wipers

12. Charts

  • Admiralty paper and electronic ARCS charts for SE Asia region with computer radar interfaced GPS position and AIS display

13. Navigation lights

  • Aqua Signal type 70 side, mast, stern and towing lights 220/24 volts

  • Aqua Signal type 55 Masthead light

  • Aqua Signal type 70 NUC lamps

14. Miscellaneous

  • Electric and Air horns (with small compressor in wheelhouse)

  • Zoellner Makrofon air whistle on mast, from ER compressed air

  • CCTV cameras with wheelhouse control and display to guest area TV screens
